Electrical Panel Installation

The electrical panel is the main source of power pumping electricity to your entire home or business and we are using more energy than ever before. In order to keep your property running smoothly and safely, the electrical panel with the proper rating can put an end to tripped breakers and prevent fires.

Sometimes the electrical panel becomes an afterthought to homeowners or businesses until they start to show signs of failure. Get ahead of failures by having your electrical panels inspected. This inspection becomes a high priority when your panel is more than 20 years old. Today's homes require up to 200 amps of power or more. Is your home able to handle all of your speaker systems, HD televisions, appliances, and HVAC systems?

Zinsco and Federal Pacific Electric Panels

If you have a Federal Pacific Electric panel, it is a good measure to have it replaced. This panel was prominent in homes built in the 1950s-1980s and they do not meet today's safety/building codes due to their high risk for fire danger. These panels are considered high risk due to their history of failing to trip when wires are overloaded and leading to fires.

Reasons to replace or upgrade an electrical panel:

  • Is your home older than 20 years?

  • Have you done remodeling?

  • Have you added more appliances and computers?

  • Does your electrical panel run hot?

  • When you plug in an appliance, do your breakers trip?

  • Is your home equipped with a fuse box?

  • Are lights flickering on a regular basis?

  • Crackling or buzzing sound coming from your outlets?

  • Black around some of the outlet holes?

  • Are you having to use a lot of power strips?
